Well it all started back on the 7th of July, 2003! Sites been going for 6 years now. Why is it here? It started off as a nerd challenge, could I get an interactive website going? What a challenge it turned out to be! After very many hours banging away at the keyboard, what you see before you was created. It's been a rewarding experience. The members we have are a great group of people, many of which I know personally. The site has grown over time, and recently we have migrated from php-nuke to Joomla. This has provided even more functionallity including videos hosted on the site. We are proud to host episodes of Local Windsurfing WA that went to air in 2007. If you missed it, then check out the Video section. It's a community for windsurfers, from everywhere. Yep, it's got a Western Asutralian bias, but it's where it started. All are welcome. |
