Maui Ultra Fins for Multi Fin Boards
Having now got a thruster as my main wave board (JP 75 Single Thruster), I was interested in trying a few different fin combos.
The JP comes standard with a 20cm centre fin and 2 x 10cm side fins. Blanking plates are also provided for the side find so you can turn the board into a single fin with ease.
Diva Tracy and I have just returned from a week windsurfing and relaxing at Safari Lodge on Nananu-I-Ra island off the north east coast of the main island of Fiji, Viti Levu.
We set off on Friday the 4th of September from Perth for a 14 hour door to door trip. We departed at 16:00. First to Melbourne, where strong tail winds cut the flight time to under 3.5 hours. A 1 hour wait until our 1 am flight on to Nadi.
A spectacular event came to an end today with the price giving held directly at the beach in front of the Pro Center Chris Schill. Finian Maynard (BVI) and Valerie Ghibaudo (FRA, Loft Sails) are the world champions 2009.
West Aussie, Chris Lockwood, new to Neil Pryde sails, finished 6th at the event!
After 7 rounds of speedsailing action, giving two discards for the fleet from all over the world, Karpathos proved another time to be the perfect venue for high wind windsurfing.
